How Does Gymki Work?

Gymki is a new way to access fitness on your terms. Discover and access a broad array of gyms, studios, and other fitness facilities using the Gymki marketplace. Book classes and open gym time directly on your phone, with transparent pricing and frictionless entry. We don't require any membership fees - only pay for what you use. Show your QR code when you arrive, then walk in and work out. That's it. We couldn't be more excited to bring the incredible array of Seattle fitness experiences directly to the fitness explorer community.

  • What is Seattle Fitness Week?
    Seattle Fitness Week (SFW) is a week-long event where participants can purchase an all-access pass to attend unlimited workouts and open gym sessions at participating gyms and studios in Seattle.
  • How is Gymki involved with SFW?
    Gymki is the official technology partner for SFW, allowing users to book workouts, check gym schedules, and check in to participating fitness spaces.
  • How do I access SFW offerings through Gymki?
    Purchase an SFW pass on the Seattle Fitness Week website. Receive an alphanumeric code via email. Download the Gymki app and create an account. Enter your SFW code in the app to unlock access.
  • I don’t have an SFW pass yet. Can I still use Gymki?
    Yes! You can explore the app, view gym listings, and check schedules, but you need an SFW pass to book workouts for the event. There will be a button in the app directing you to the SFW website to purchase a pass.
  • I entered my SFW code, but it’s not working. What should I do?
    Double-check that you entered the code correctly. Ensure you are using the code associated with your SFW pass. If the issue continues, contact info@gymki.com.
  • How do I book workouts through Gymki for SFW?
    Once your SFW code is activated, you can browse participating gyms, view schedules, and book workouts directly in the app.
  • How do I check in at a gym or studio?
    After booking a workout, Gymki generates a pass with a QR code and an alphanumeric code. Show this code at check-in to access your class or gym session.
  • Can I book multiple workouts in a day?
    Yes! Your SFW pass gives you unlimited access to participating gyms and studios throughout the event.
  • Workout Cancellation & Booking Policy.
    Workouts cannot be booked or cancelled through Gymki within 24 hours of the workout start time. If you wish to cancel a workout within that period, contact the gym or studio directly.
  • Can I book workouts for a friend?
    No, SFW passes are non-transferable, and each participant must have their own Gymki account and SFW pass.
  • Do I need a Gymki account to use the app for SFW?
    Yes. You must sign up with your phone number, verify it with an OTP, and enter your name and birthdate to use the app.
  • I didn’t receive my OTP during sign-up. What should I do?
    Ensure your phone number is entered correctly. Try resending the OTP. Restart the app and try again. If the issue persists, contact info@gymki.com.
  • I entered my SFW code, but it’s not working. What should I do?
    Double-check that the code is entered correctly. Ensure you are using the correct code from your SFW pass. If the issue continues, contact SFW support.
  • What else can I do on Gymki during SFW?
    Discover participating gyms and studios. View class schedules and open gym times. Get directions to booked workouts. Add workout times to your calendar. See exclusive deals and promotions from participating gyms.
  • Will I still have access to Gymki after Seattle Fitness Week?
    Yes! Even after SFW, you can continue using Gymki to find and book workouts at participating gyms and studios.

  • Do I need a Gymki membership?
    No, Gymki is a pay-per-session platform. You only pay for the sessions you book unless participating in a special event like Seattle Fitness Week.
  • Does Gymki offer gym memberships?
    No, Gymki provides flexible access to gyms and studios without requiring a membership. However, gyms may offer special promotions through Gymki, including membership deals.
  • Can I use Gymki outside of Seattle?
    Right now, Gymki is launching in Seattle. More locations will be added in the future!
  • Is Gymki free to use?
    Yes, downloading and browsing the app is free. You only pay for workouts you book.
  • How do I delete my account and its associated data?
    You can request for personal data associated with your account to be deleted at any time by completing this form here with your account details. Upon confirmation, we will permanently erase the personal data associated with your account within 30 days. Please note that once actioned, deletion is irreversible. What data will be deleted? Once your account is deleted, the following types of data will be permanently erased: Personal Information: Your name, email address, and any other personal details you provided during signup. Session History: All records of sessions booked or attended through Gymki. Payment Information: Saved payment methods and transaction history. Promotional Data: Any Gymki-specific offers, promotions, or ads associated with your account. Analytics Data: Non-personally identifiable data linked to your account. Important Note: Some data may be retained temporarily for legal or compliance purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, please contact our support team at info@gymki.com.
  • What should I do if I have trouble with the Gymki app?
    Check for updates in the App Store/Google Play. If issues persist, reach out to Gymki support through the app or website, or by emailing info@gymki.com.
  • I didn’t receive my OTP during sign-up. What should I do?
    Ensure your phone number is entered correctly. Try resending the OTP. Restart the app and try again. If the issue persists, contact Gymki support at the email address info@gymki.com.
  • Do I need a Gymki account to use the app?
    In order to access the full set of Gymki features, such as booking workouts, you need a Gymki account. To create an account, you need to sign up with your phone number, verify it with an OTP (one-time password), and provide your name and birthdate.
  • How do I book workouts through Gymki?
    Simply browse participating gyms, check their schedules, and book a session. After booking, you’ll receive a digital pass (QR code and alphanumeric code) for check-in.
  • How do I check in at a gym or studio?
    When you book a workout, Gymki generates a pass with a QR code and alphanumeric code. This pass is available in your Workouts tab located at the bottom middle of the screen and should also appear at the top of your Home Screen under "Upcoming," Show this code at check-in to access the gym or class.
  • What if I need to cancel a booked workout?
    Cancellation policies may vary by gym. Check the details in the app when booking.
  • Can I book workouts for a friend?
    At this time, each Gymki account is for individual use only.
